Our brains are naturally hard-wired to be frightened of new things and some people may be anxious about the unknown. The term “trance” may be off-putting for some and conjure up depictions of old films, where actors are at the behest of a villain, somehow against their will. Nothing could be further from the truth! In reality, it’s a deeply natural, relaxed state that we dip in and out of throughout our waking hours e.g. when driving from A to B and you cannot recall the journey, or similarly, we may daydream when we’re watching television etc. By accessing the subconscious, we are able to tap into an extremely powerful conduit for making positive, lasting change. Despite being deeply relaxing, this is not a passive process – we have to work together as a team in order to help you focus on and achieve your goals. However, I cannot imagine that there is any other type of holistic therapy, which is sublimely relaxing and which affords such personal therapeutic results.
